ABOUT OUR WORK

We interpret our work as a method for solving problems but we seek to add critique by challenging ourselves artistically. The space or the programme assigned to it are the basis for creating the concept on which we are guided from the first scribble to the choice of the last lamp.

We start by connecting with those who will use what we are creating, the sensory perception of the place, its materiality and the recognition of its memory. Visiting a piece of land for which we have been asked to create a new experience and being sure which piece of landscape will be framed. We rewrite the history of the site or the existing one, respecting it and bearing in mind that the space created should always be able to tell a new story.

We will exist as long as we can tell stories like this.

Co-founder of Oficina Circunflexo.

Inês Gonçalves Soares

Master in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto with an exchange at the Pontifical Universid Católica de Chile. Co-founder of the Go_architecture competition. Founding member of Imagin’Oporto. Architect at Vieyra Estudio, in Mexico City. Main architect and project and construction manager at PassarIdeias, in Lisbon. Co-founder of Oficina Circunflexo.
